What Happened in My Day
Hi, my shiny friends! I’m back again, and today we attended the “Rekta sa Kalye Masskareppin” event, where our team joined the competition and got Rank 1 in the semifinals! Next week will be the finals, and I’m so happy because I was there watching my idols — who are also part of my Krispy Kream family. You know what, I felt a little kilig because my crush sat beside me, smiled, and I accidentally leaned on his shoulder. Deep inside, I couldn’t breathe from excitement, hahaha! But it was okay — I congratulated him with a smile, and he smiled back.
After that, we went to Talisay Public Plaza to practice again for the finals. Actually, we’ll be joining them too since we’re also part of their team. Next month, we’ll compete at WSB in Ayala Mall, so we practiced with them and even tried to make a TikTok. Unfortunately, we ran out of time, so we couldn’t record a video — maybe next time! Instead, we just memorized and changed some of the choreography for our dance. While practicing, we had so much fun because of all the silly ideas that came to our minds — we just kept laughing!
After practice, we ate Angel’s Burger with Coca-Cola, prayed together, and shouted “Krispy Kream!” after counting 1, 2, 3. Then we said our goodbyes and “See you tomorrow.”
It was already 12:00 midnight when I was walking alone to the e-bike terminal. I realized how peaceful it is at midnight — not many people around, only city lights and a few cars on the road. When I finally got on the e-bike, I used my phone for a while but noticed the driver was driving slowly. Maybe he didn’t know the road well because he asked, “Where are you going?” I said, “Piyak Suba,” and he replied, “Where’s that?” I said, “Just go straight ahead.” I started to feel a bit scared because he kept stopping on dark streets with no lights. It turned out he really wasn’t familiar with the way.
When we finally reached the road to my house, I felt relieved. I saw a small store, so I bought a soft drink and some ice before going home. When I arrived, I sat on a chair near the table to rest for a bit, then grabbed some clothes, took a bath, and went straight to bed.
